Shrimp Masala

Ingredients

Step 1
2 Onion med-larg
1/2 cup oil
1 bag of shrimp 40-50

Step 2
2 Large tomatoes chopped
3 small green chillies chopped
1 bunch cilantro chopped
1 tsp cumin power
1 tsp corriander powder
1/2 tsp tumeric
1/2 red chilli powder
1/2 tsp – 1 Tbsp salt (to taste)
1 Tbsp Garlic Paste
1 Tbsp Ginger Paste

Steps

– Thinly slice onions
– On high heat, add the oil and onion
– once the onions turned light brown, add shrimps
– turn the heat to medium
– add the power spices, ginger and garlic
– add tomatoes
– once the tomatoes start separating and you see a little more liquid, turn the heat high and occasionally stir
– when the tomatoes become pasty and the water evaporates, turn to low
– put in the cilantro and green chillies and stir
– cover and cook on low heat for 5 min
