Rhubarb Cake

Ingredients

Ingredients Group 1

Butter 1/2 Cup
Rhubarb 2 Cups (Finely Diced)
Buttermilk 1 Cup
Flour/All Purpose Flour 2 Cups
Baking Soda 1 tsp
Brown Sugar 1 1/2 Cup
Eggs 1

Ingredients Group 2

Sugar 1/2 Cup (White Sugar)
Ground Cinnamon 1 tsp
Nuts Optional as desired

Steps

Method for Ingredients Group 1

1 Cream butter and sugar
2 Add egg, beating well
3 Add soda to flour & then add this alternately with the buttermilk
4 Add the Rhubarb
5 Pour in 9×13 greased pan

Method for Ingredients Group 2

6 Mix together sugar and Cinnamon
7 Sprinkle over batter after it is in the pan
8 Nuts make a nice addition to the top, too
9 Bake 350 for 45 minutes
