Dahi Murgh (Yogurt Chicken)

Ingredients

Yogurt 2-4 tbsp
Green Chilli(es) 2 (Chopped in thin circles)
Onions 1 (Sliced thin)
Tomatoes 2 (Chopped in cubes)
Oil 4 tbsp
Garlic 11 (Chopped or blended)
Vinegar 1-2 tbsp
Ginger 11 (Chopped or blended)
Coriander/Cilantaro 1/4 of a bunch (Chopped up)
Chicken Whole 1 (Cut into curry pieces)
Chicken Tikka Masala 1tsp. (Preferrably "National " brand)
Salt 1 flat tsp
Chilli Powder 1 flat tsp
Garam Masala - Powder 1 tsp

Preparation

1 Heat 1/2 oil in a cooking pot on medium heat
2 Add onion(s) and fry till light brown
3 Remove from pot and turn off heat for now
4 In a blender, add tomatoes, green chillies, onion(fried one), ginger, garlic
5 Add 1 oz(approx.) water and blend well
6 In the same pot, add the rest of the oil, chicken, vinegar and salt
7 Heat on medium heat/flame and cook for 5-10 minutes
8 Add the blended stuff, spices and yogurt in the pot
9 Stir and mix well
10 Cook on medium-low heat
11 Put 1-2 oz water in blender, shake manually, add to the pot
12 Cook for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes, stirring occassionally
13 Cook fo ranother 10-15 minutes on low heat while covering the pot
14 Add Coriander/Cilantaro before serving
15 Serve with Naan, Chappatti, Roti or Rice
