Murgh Tandoori Masala (Spicy Chicken Tandoori)

Tomato Sauce 1/2 can (Preferrably Hunt brand)
Coriander/Cilantaro !/4 of a bunch (Chopped thin)
Green Chilli(es) 2-4 (Sliced in thin circles)
Onions 1 (Sliced thin)
Oil 2-4 Cooking Spoons
Chicken Whole 1(Cut into curry pieces)
Paprika 1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder 1/2 tsp. - 1 tsp
Tandoori Masala 1 tsp.(Preferrably Rajah brand)
Garam Masala - Powder 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp or a pinch
Garam Masala - Whole A little bit
Salt 1 tsp


1 Heat oil in a deep pot on medium heat
2 Add and fry onion till golden brown
3 Add whole garam masala, green chillies and chicken
4 Stir and mix well
5 Add spices, mix and add sauce
6 Mix again and let it cook for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes
7 Stir and mix every now and then
8 Cover and let it stand on very low heat for 5 minutes
9 Garnish with Coriander Leaves before serving with Naan
