Cinnamon Chicken

Coriander/Cilantaro A handful, to be used as garnish if desired
Chicken Breast 2 breast pieces(Boneless/Skinless, cut in cubes)
Onions 1 (Sliced Finely)
Oil 1/2-1 Cup
Coriander Powder 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
Garam Masala - Powder 1/2 tsp
Amchur Powder 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala - Whole As given in description
Salt 1 tsp
Chilli Powder 2 tsp. (Preferrably National brand)
Cumin Seeds 1 tsp. (Extra besides garam masala whole ones)
Garlic 1 tsp. (Paste)
Cinnamon Sticks 3-4 pieces, besides the ones in garam masala
Ginger 1 tsp. (Paste)


1 Heat oil, add onion(s) and cook till light brown
2 Add garam masala, cumin seeds and cinnamon sticks
3 Add chicken and cook till light brown
4 You can also use whole chicken curry pieces instead of breast pieces if you prefer
5 Add ginger and garlic. Stir and mix well
6 Add the rest of the spices and continue cooking on low heat till done
7 Slight oil will start to show on surface when it is done
8 Add coriander leaves for garnish
