Egg Drop Soup

Serves 2

Ingredients

* 1/2 carrot, minced
* 1/2 celery or 1 green onion, chopped
* 1 egg, whisked
* 3-4 tsp corn (optional)
* 1 tsp cornstarch
* 2 cups of water
* 1/4 or more (according to taste) aginomoto(MSG) & pepper
* One chicken bouillon cube

Preparation

1. Sauté carrots, celery/green onion,& corn in saucepan or pot until soft but not burnt, make sure you mix a lot- do not add oil
2. Add water, mix a bit
3. Add chicken bouillon cube, stir until dissolved
4. Add cornstarch, stir. Make sure there are no lumps, if there are, keep stirring
5. Gradually stir in egg, extremely slowly. Do not pour in all at once.
6. Bring it so that its almost at a boil, then add the salt and pepper
7. Lower the heat, stir for a while, then serve
