Aaloo Ka Pakora

Description

Potatoes coated in Gram Flour

Ingredients

Gram Flour (Baisan) 1 Cup
Oil At least 6-8 Tbsp
Water 6 Oz
Potatoes 3 Medium Size ( Cut in 1/2 inch circles)
Black Pepper 1/4 tsp
Salt 1/2 - 1 tsp
Paprika 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds 1/2 tsp
Coriander Seeds 1 Pinch

Preparation

1 Mix everything to a smooth consistancy in a bowl
2 Add potatoes in there
3 Mix again and set aside
4 Heat oil in a frying pan or Karahi/Wok
5 Place potatoes covered in gram flour mixture in there (Preferrably 6 or less at a time)
6 Fry for a minute or so and then turn over
7 Turn again in a couple of minutes
8 Keep frying until both sides turn a golden shade of brown
9 Take out pakoras by straining the oil and then placing them on a plate covered with paper-towel
10 Repeat the process until all the pakoras are cooked
11 Remove the paper-towel once all the oil is absorbed by it
12 Sprinkle Shaan Chat Masala on top of it and serve hot with ketchup and tea
