Description: Traditional eurasian Sugee cake

Ingredients

700 gms sugee
750 gms butter
600 gms castor sugar
12 eggs
100 gms almond granules
100 gms nutmeg (chopped
80 gms self raising Flour
1 teaspoon vanilla Essence
1 teaspoon rose syrup

Preparation

Cream butter and sugee until fluffy
In a separate bowl, beat up 12 egg yolks and castor sugar together. Add sugee mixture and mix together. Add vanilla essence and rose syrup. Fold in flour mix with almonds granules and nutmeg. Then lastly beat up egg white until froth and fold into cake mixture.
Line 3 tins and put 2lbs each of mixture and bake in a oven of 180F for 1 hour 10 mins.
Cool cake on rake.
