Sufaid Chawwal (Basmati rice cooked in Microwave)

Ingredients

Water 2 Cups
White rice 1 Cup
Salt 1/2 tsp. or so

Steps

1 Clean, wash and soak rice in a bowl for 15-20 minutes
2 Drain the water and put rice in a microwavable container alongwith salt and water
3 Stir and let it cook for 15-20 minutes in a microwave
4 Stir half way through
5 Should be done in twenty minutes or so unless older microwave. Then let it cook for another 10 minutes or so
